Saamy - Deputy Commissioner of Police Aaruchami (Vikram) efficiently maintains law and order in the city of Thirunelveli. At the outset, he seems to be a corrupt cop who accepts bribes from the influential and powerful Annachi (Kota Srinivasa Rao). Aaruchami tries his best to remain in Annachi's good books and seems to do everything with Annachi's blessings.
